Middle School students also have opportunities to develop socially and physically through participation in athletics and in a variety of extra-curricular and recreational activities.

The Academy Middle School program is designed to establish a firm foundation upon which students can successfully make the transition to the rigorous academic environment of the Upper School. Our staff of teachers and educators share a common mission: educating students through quality curriculum that is challenging, fun, and rewarding. Unlike public schools, SMA is an independent private school serving students by providing smaller classes with lower student-to-teacher ratios. This allows for more personalized learning experiences to help ensure success.
